Reclamation Seed

Reclamation Seed

Reclamation grass seed mixes can be used for a number of applications primarily where soil has been disturbed during forestry, mining, or construction. Our reclamation mixes have been specially formulated to prevent the erosion of soil, reduce sediment and water runoff, and to re-establish vegetation for wildlife habitat. Legumes, such as clovers, are often included in our mixes to attract beneficial pollinators and for nitrogen fixation on nutrient-poor soils.

*All reclamation mixes are available on request without legumes.

The Coastal Revegetation Mix was developed for use in the South Coast regions of BC and Vancouver Island areas. This mix is ideal for vegetation establishment where slope stabilization and strong erosion control is needed due to high annual precipitation. This mix has a wide diversity of species which makes it adaptable to many different sites and is our most popular reclamation mix.
